Playing as Tainted Lost in the Spire To better match The Binding of Isaac, I've made some adjustments. The mod currently only works with the public version. Tainted Lost Challenge – Overview Max HP is fixed to 1 (you cannot gain any max HP increases). Start with a Holy Card (i.e., Lucky Tonic). During combat, damage dealt is increased by 30% and you gain Soar. Potions generated have a 10% chance to be replaced by a Holy Card. Increased chance to encounter Uncommon and Rare cards. All original events related to max HP / healing have been modified. All HP‑related relics (including Lizard Tail) have been removed. Added new relics tied to The Lost, such as Birthright. How to Play A fourth starting option is added at Neow's blessing screen. Choosing it lets you play as Tainted Lost (this does not affect the selection of your starting relic). Removed Events While playing as Tainted Lost, most HP‑related events are modified, but the event ABYSSAL_BATHS has been completely removed. Removed Potions While playing as Tainted Lost, the following potions are removed: Blood Potion Regen Potion Fruit Juice (Fairy in a Bottle is kept, similar to Soul of Lazarus.) Removed Relics While playing as Tainted Lost, the following relics are removed: Common – Meal Ticket, Strawberry, regal Pillow, Book of Five Rings, Blood Vial, Red Skull Uncommon – Planisphere, Pear, Pantograph, Eternal Feather, Self-Forming Clay, Book Repair Knife Rare – Meat on the Bone, Beating Remnant, Mango, Lizard Tail, Demon Tongue, Emotion Chip Shop – Lee‘s Waffle, Dragonfruit, Fake Blood Vial, Fake Mango, Fake Lee’s Waffle New Relics Added Shop Relic – Birthright (only appears when playing as Tainted Lost) Uncommon Relic –Found Soul, Lost Soul (similar to the Lost Soul in The Binding of Isaac ) Rare Relic – Sacred Orb New Cards Added New Curse – Broken Modified Events There are too many HP‑related events to list individually. All event‑related relics (such as Royal Poison) have also been adjusted accordingly. Mod Compatibility Currently, this mod only modifies the original game's events and relics. If other mods add or modify damage‑taking events, choosing them may result in the character's death (since the player only has 1 HP).
