THE LIVING FORGE: BETA BRANCH - V0.4.3 Build a weapon over a run, not just a deck. V0.4.3 BUG FIXES Fixed card-picking softlocks with Ancients Awakened's Artifact of Command and other mods that offer shared card templates. Related ownership checks are guarded while Living Forge selection behavior is preserved. WHAT'S CHANGED SINCE V0.3.1 • Three new Epoch chapters, the First Smith Ancient, and the Open Workshop Act 2 event with nine commission finishes. • New Masterwork Quests and relics, three new potions, and Craft Blueprint at rest sites. • Choose how many Ingots to spend on eight variable-payment cards; the default Ingot cap is now 18. • Updated character, card, relic, potion, and encounter art, combat animation, and balance. WHAT THE MOD ADDS • Play as the Living Forge with 114 cards and three core build streams: spend Ember for immediate power, build Plating for defense, or Smelt Ember into persistent Ingots for stronger cards and Masterworks. • Discover 38 relics and 8 potions , including craftable Masterworks, new brews, and rewards for other characters. • Advance through seven Epoch chapters with story scenes and unlocks. • Meet the First Smith , a new Act 2 Ancient with relic bargains, and visit the Open Workshop , a shared Act 2 event with tools and finishes. • See new card portraits, relic and potion art, encounter scenes, and animated character presentation throughout the run. CHOOSE WHAT TO FORGE Choose how many Ingots to spend on cards with a variable payment, including zero, or save them for a Masterwork Quest. New recipes and the Craft Blueprint rest action give you more ways to pursue a specific relic during a run. The First Smith offers three relic choices from a larger pool; Open Workshop choices and Epoch unlocks give each run more to discover. COMPATIBILITY AND FEEDBACK Requires Slay the Spire 2's public-beta branch and BaseLib. This v0.4.3 beta build targets public-beta 0.111.0, Steam build 24724944, and requires BaseLib 3.4.7 or later. Subscribe to exactly one Living Forge Workshop item. Disable the stable item before enabling this beta item. Both builds share a mod identity and cannot run together. Report balance, presentation, compatibility, and multiplayer findings in the Workshop discussions. English and Simplified Chinese text are included; native Chinese review remains open.
