Ace is coming to Slay the Spire 2 with a unique playstyle built around preparation, manipulation, and explosive payoffs. Stock Like Defect's Orbs, but with a gambler's twist. Playing colored cards adds them to your Stock, where they remain until you're ready to use them. Every card in your Stock is a future resource waiting for the perfect moment. Flip Stocked Cards can be Flipped. Based on the color and the number of cards flipped, different effects will apply. Knowing when to flip and when to hold can completely change the outcome of a fight. Consume Stocked cards can also be used for resources. Certain cards will consume Stocks. Bear in mind that this does not trigger their flip effect. As with my previous character mods, most assets were from official art, fanarts, and edited by me. However, for this project, because of lack of resources, approximately 10 card artworks were generated with AI assistance to help fill gaps where suitable artwork was unavailable. Hopefully this does not take away from your experience with the character. My goal has always been to create fun, thematic, and polished gameplay first and foremost.
