Core Features 1. Makes main-menu, combat, shop, and rest-site backgrounds transparent while keeping characters, enemies, effects, the merchant, the logo, and UI visible. 2. New optional per-pixel click-through (Windows): transparent pixels pass clicks and mouse wheel to the window behind, while visible content stays interactive. The game stays always on top while enabled, toggles with F8 by default (configurable, with on-screen notice), and lets you choose the Windows or Slay the Spire cursor. 3. Optional built-in background hiding: shop inventory rug, map scroll plus its dark backdrop, and question-mark event art. First Launch Adds the transparent-window settings required by Godot, shows a restart notice, and closes the game once. Relaunch to activate. An existing game config file is backed up before changes. Compatibility Slay the Spire 2 v0.111.0 Acts from the Past 1.0.5 Act 4 Heart 1.1.7 RegentFX 0.5.1 Future scene mods using the standard BackgroundAssets / rest-site pipelines Combat and rest-site compatibility is resource-path independent. Notes 1. Visual-only mod; does not affect gameplay. 2. The game window becomes borderless; exclusive fullscreen is changed to regular fullscreen. 3. Requires Windows/GPU desktop composition with transparent window support. 4. Unsubscribing on Steam will not automatically restore your original game config file. 5. Recommended for use with altdrag, which can adjust the transparency of windows on Windows. After unsubscribing, Steam will not automatically restore the game config. To revert manually: 1. Find override.cfg in the game config folder. 2. In the same folder, find the backup file override.cfg.MegaTransparentTheSpire2.backup. 3. Delete or rename the current override.cfg, then rename the backup file to override.cfg. 4. Launch the game. 5. If there is no backup, open override.cfg with a text editor and remove the 4 transparency settings added by the mod.
