The Tailor A character mod which adds The Tailor , a stylish clothier with a score to settle. In development - expect incremental balance changes and placeholder graphics! Supported languages: English, Japanese, Chinese The Tailor starts with: • 4 Strikes • 4 Defends • 1 Sew • 1 Craft Card Stitching The Tailor can Stitch his cards together - when one is played, the other is played afterward for free. This allows him to circumvent Energy costs, set up combos, and pull cards from different piles to narrow his deck down to the essentials. Minions Certain cards allow you to create Minions , living fabric creatures who take damage for you and have a variety of abilties depending on their make. You can interact with them to change their order, sacrifice them, and combine different types to make the most of their effects. Upgrades The Tailor has an Upgrade archetype with various ways to enhance your cards during combat. Premium cards can be Upgraded any number of times, allowing you to spend your campfires strengthening your strongest card while enhancing the rest during combat. Custom graphics All assets have been hand-drawn and designed with Megacrit's style in mind to make The Tailor feel like he fits among the rest of the cast. Many cards and assets still have missing or placeholder graphics which will be replaced in the future. Changelog Comprehensive changes are listed on the Github releases page . Dependencies • BaseLib • MinionLib Frequently asked questions My save has been reset! What happened? • Slay The Spire 2, by default, has separate saves for modded installs. Get a mod like Import Vanilla Saves to bring Vanilla progress into a modded instance. Why doesn't the character doesn't show up in the menu? • You're most likely on the Release branch of Slay The Spire 2, which this mod isn't compatible with yet. If not, it may be an error which you can report using the method below. Why does Replay not repeat Stitched cards? • Early on I was having problems with this causing infinite chains of replay->stitch->replay, since Slay The Spire 2 queues up the card plays in an odd way. Once I learn the best way to approach it, this may change. Can I submit a translation? • You can, but you'll have to be a little familiar with the JSON file format and Github. Localization files are here , and if you're submitting a new translation you'll have to commit your own folder there with a pull request. The most effective way to report an error is as an Issue on Github by providing a log file. You can find log files by: • Opening the in-game console using ` or Shift+8 • Type in "open log" • Upload the godot.log file from that location.
