Elementalist (TheElement) Elementalist adds a new playable character to Slay the Spire 2, who generates a large number of cards and plays at high frequency to deliver satisfying combat. Core Mechanics Eight 0-cost Element cards: Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Light, Dark, Arcane, and Ether — all Exhaust, and all draw at least 1 card. Three Phases to switch between: Ocean, Earth, and Sky. Each Phase alters how Elements behave and changes your tactical priorities. Retain offers flexible control, greatly improving combo consistency. Mystery transforms Retained cards into quasi-Power cards when they are played next turn. Special Notes Designed to handle Slay the Spire 2's notorious enemies: Most Elements are Status cards — effective against Prism and Test Subject. Fire Element reduces enemy HP — strong against Beekeeper and Hunter-Killer. Dark Element Exhausts cards from hand — a direct counter to Hourglass.
