A mod that lets you choose which characters can be selected by the Random Character option. You can switch between Basic and Advanced Random modes in the settings. - Multiplayer supported - Not every player needs to have this mod installed - No required dependencies - Supports both the official and beta branches. Basic Random Use checkboxes to choose which characters are included in the random selection pool. Advanced Random Set a weight from 0 to 100 for each character. Higher weights increase the chance of being selected, while a weight of 0 excludes the character from random selection. Avoid Teammate Characters (Host only) Available when the host is using the BetterRandomCharacter mod. Tries to avoid selecting duplicate characters among teammates. However, duplicate characters may still be selected depending on the random settings and whether other players are using the mod. I recommend that all teammates use this mod whenever possible. Exclude Last Character Excludes the last played character from random character selection. Multiplayer Note Not every player in a multiplayer lobby needs to have this mod installed. However, if another player does not have Better Random Character installed, they may see the character that was selected as soon as you choose Random Character and press Ready. This is caused by the game's multiplayer character synchronization system and is not a bug. If the other player also has Better Random Character installed, this does not happen. The character remains displayed as Random Character until the run actually begins, and the selected character is revealed when the game starts.
