Disclaimer This mod was originally created for myself and my friend group. Opening this up to the public in case folks find enjoyment themselves. I want to point out that all art is AI generated, I do not have the artistic talent to create anything worth looking at. Rather than use color tints across images found within the base STS2 game, it was simple to generate some images based on descriptive prompts - this helps give a better feel to the mod. If utilizing AI isn't your thing, I totally get it! Feel free to drop a comment regarding balancing, or any feedback regarding general improvements. Beyond The Architect The Act 3 boss is dead and the way to the Architect lies open. But something has been waiting in the ruins beyond, and it won't let you pass. The Finale • One of three secret bosses appears after the Act 3 boss, before the Architect's ending. • Each has its own fight, animated art, and story: a dialogue before the fight and a choice after it. • Beat one, and the next run brings another. The Catalyst, The Fuel and The Reagents. Spoils of the Finale Your choices after a victory can unlock relics. Once unlocked, they can turn up in later runs at a new Act 1-2 event, The Abandoned Wagon . There you take one, or leave them be and upgrade a card instead. Spawn of the Beast (a pet that throws itself in front of attacks and grows when you Nurture it at rest sites), Smoke Machine, Desiccator, Jar of Buffer. Settings Settings > Mod Configuration > Beyond The Architect: • Choose which bosses can appear. • Face every boss before a repeat (on by default). • Unlocked relics are tickboxes, so you can tick or untick them by hand. Co-op Supported. Every player faces the same boss, and each player's relic unlocks are their own. Requirements BaseLib (linked as a required item). The game is in early access, so a game patch can break the mod until it's updated.
