It will crash on the mainline branch./b] Jeany & Marvin An elf priestess with a heal for every wound and a Smite for everything else. Her kitten, Marvin, is not taking questions. Jeany is a new playable character for Slay the Spire 2, with her own cards, relics, potions, art, effects and sounds. She plays in solo runs and in co-op. How she plays • Mend heals only the HP you've lost this fight. Any healing with nothing left to heal isn't wasted: it becomes Grace . A gold band on every health bar shows what Mend can still heal. • Smite adds all your Grace to its damage (every hit, every target), then spends it. Heal up, overheal, then hit hard. • Prayers are delayed: play one now, and it's answered at the start of your next turn. A candle over Jeany shows each prayer waiting. Marvin Marvin fights beside her. He can't be hurt or targeted, and you can't command him. Each turn he picks what he'll do, shown over his head, and does it at the end of your turn: • Pounce : damage one enemy. • Zoomies : damage ALL enemies. • Curl Up : Jeany gains Block. • Bat at It : Weak to an enemy. • Bring a Gift : a Gift card next turn. • Mischief : you draw fewer cards next turn. You can't tell him what to do, but you can bribe him. Treats, toys and laser pointers change his plans, and Playful makes his Pounce, Zoomies and Curl Up bigger for the rest of the fight. What's in it • 88 cards across three styles: Grace (heal and Smite), Marvin (keep him Playful) and Prayer (plan a turn ahead), plus general cards • 9 relics, including her starter, Marvin's Collar, and its Ancient upgrade, the Jingle Bell Collar • 3 potions, including a Tin of Tuna • 64 HP; starts with 4 Strikes, 4 Defends, Lesser Heal and Smite • Her own card art, poses, map marker, visual effects and sound effects • Co-op: Mend works on your allies, and each Jeany's overflow is her own Grace Balanced with hundreds of bot-played runs against the Ironclad and the Silent, then play-tested. Installing Subscribe, then start Slay the Spire 2. The first time the game sees mods it asks you to allow them. Jeany appears on the character select screen. Requires Slay the Spire 2 version 0.111.0 or later (currently the Steam beta branch). In co-op, every player needs the mod, at the same version. Before you unsubscribe: finish or abandon any run with Jeany first. The game can't load a run once its mod's character is gone. Credits • Made by jeany55. Marvin is based on a real white kitten, who is exactly this helpful. • Built on nexost's character framework (sts2-pres-mod) • The art and sounds were made with AI tools and picked and edited by hand. • The spell names are a fond homage to classic fantasy priests; no assets from any other game are used.
