This mod offers a character drawn from the construction trade , and zir countless industry jokes. homages to those jokes, in the form of cards and relics. clarifications of the misconceptions about those jokes, in the form of margin notes, card names, and card art. (the main misconception being clarified: that construction-industry jokes have no real-world archetype and could never happen.) One of the jokes is Your teammates are: the Ironclad , who burns all to ash, the Silent , who endures through the ages, the Defect , who summons Lightning and Frost , the Necrobinder , steeped in bitter hatred, the Regent , proud scion from another star. Your enemy is: the Architect who rules the Spire. And you are: the poor sod pouring concrete in the Spire. Huh, I 'm fighting the Architect? For real? But if you don't climb the Spire for fear of dying, how's that any different from being dead ? The victory declaration of one who set out to demand their unpaid wages: We'll win! Contents • 87 cards • 7 relics • 1 potion • Simplified Chinese / English Starting Deck & Relics • Strike ×4, Defend ×4 • Appropriation ×1: Draw : Gain 4 Block next turn. Gain 7 Block from the next turn. (upgraded: 7 / 10 Block ) • Positioning ×1: While this is the leftmost card in your Hand , apply 1 Vulnerable . Deal 7 damage. (upgraded: 2 Vulnerable , 9 damage) • Starter relic: Latitudinal Compass : At the end of your turn, Retain the rightmost non- Retain Attack or Skill card in your hand. Playstyle • Tune your card order with Retain and top-deck control for extra value and a steadier deck. • Pickup out-of-combat growth; keep your deck under tight control. • Spin up fast — plenty of ( not very reusable ) draw and ( very not reusable ) energy to get online quicker than a certain blue fellow . • The price of strength: play cards with “questionable consequences” , and trust the next-turn you to handle the mess. • Produce a big pile of useful (and not-so-useful ) cards to play, as many as any temp worker on a chaotic construction site. • Use Transform and Exhaust to clean up the mess from the points above (then pin it on Vakuu the informal worker and fire him ).
