Stories to step into. A new Ancient with gifts that can reshape your run. Play as Frodo in Slay the Spire 2. Pack a second breakfast, gather an unlikely company and decide how much of yourself you are willing to give to the One Ring. Familiar faces. Unexpected combinations. A little courage against a very large shadow. Small hands. Remarkable courage. The Hobbits bring Food, clever defence and friendship worth fighting for. Sam has your back. Merry has a blade. Pippin has snacks. Build a steady supply of Food, protect the Ring-bearer and find room for one more helping. Food is generated colourless utility: it can support your journey whichever strategy you choose. Your company. Your combinations. Companions arrive as you play their cards. Powers keep them beside you. Resolve actions from different members to build Fellowship and unlock stronger combinations. The Hunters favour coordinated attacks: set up a target with Aragorn, loose Legolas's arrows and let Gimli finish the job. Mix their strength with Hobbit support, or turn the Ring's influence into an altogether riskier plan. Companions share Frodo's deck and health; they are not separate targetable creatures. Wisdom, wonder—and a darker possibility. Bring Gandalf's Wizardry into your build. Discover Elven gifts. Call upon Galadriel , whose light carries a glimpse of something far more terrible. Galadriel stands behind the company; Gollum lurks ahead. Both bring their own opportunities, without contributing to the Fellowship count. Make every blow feel like the Fellowship. Sting flashes blue. Elven arrows strike true. A Dwarven axe lands with purpose. Boromir's shield stands between Frodo and danger. Sam's frying pan has a rather direct opinion. And Merry and Pippin? They brought a most magnificent dragon firework . Some plans deserve a bigger entrance. The dragon firework is a deliberately larger special effect. Just one more use of the Ring… Burden opens dangerous opportunities. Wear the Ring, exploit its protection and turn temptation into damage. Push too far and the Eye of Sauron answers. Resist its call, share the load or make Gollum part of a plan he probably should not be trusted with. The strongest-looking choice is not always the safest one. Actual character-selection presentation: hover over Sting for its glow; approach the Ring to awaken its inscription, then reveal Mordor and the Eye above Barad-dûr. Second breakfast. Bottled starlight. A fighting chance. Some supplies deserve a place in your pack. Conjure an emergency feast with Traveller's Rations , power up with Ent-Draught , or save Phial of Starlight for the turn when everything is on the line: Buffer to stop the next hit, and your hand retained for the next turn. Three new potions. Three reasons to keep climbing. Your climb just took a turn through Middle-earth. A warm pint at The Prancing Pony . An uneasy glimpse into Galadriel's Mirror .
