About Spire Mod Manager is an expansion of the mod settings page that allows you to organize, tag, and easily swap or share mod configurations. This mod doesn't affect gameplay and has no dependencies, so it should be safe to add to any save file, and to play multiplayer without others needing to install it too. Access the manager with one click from the main menu. Works on both stable and beta versions of the game. View the source code @jciurc/spire-mod-manager , written using Claude Code Opus 5.5 Features • Categories - Sort your mods into custom categories • Tags - Group and easily organize your mods based on what they do, how they look, how they smell or anything else you'd like! Some tags are added automatically from each mod's details. • Filters - Find your installed mods by name, tag, author, notes or status • Profiles - Save your mod lists in convenient and sensible configurations. For example, save a light multiplayer-only profile that doesn't include any gameplay-altering mods, or one that includes every custom character you could find. • Sharing - Profiles can easily be exported and imported by copying or saving a simple list • Custom notes - Add a custom note and nickname to any mod so you never forget what it does • Load Order - Rearrange your mods with a straightforward drag-and-drop system, with clear information on which mod needs to go where. Or just click the Auto sort button and you're good to go. • Keep track of what's changed - Accidentally enabled something you didn't mean to, or moved something and forgot where it was? The changes tracker shows clearly what's different since you launched the game, allowing you to undo, redo, revert or discard a setup you weren't ready to commit to. Compatibility with other mods Spire Mod Manager requires no other mods to run, and creates its own settings page so the vanilla page is always accessible. Both pages control and show the same installed mods, so enabling a mod in one menu is reflected in the other. It can be loaded alongside other mod managers, such as Better Mod Menu. However, since other managers may also control how mods are loaded when you start the game, running several can bring conflicts and broken or unpredictable behavior. It's recommended to have only one mod manager at a time. If you're switching from Better Mod Menu, your groups, notes and profiles carry over the first time Spire Mod Manager runs, and lists exported from it can be imported as profiles, so you don't have to start from scratch. Other notes • Your categories, notes, tags and profiles are saved on this PC only, not in the Steam Cloud, so they won't carry over to other devices automatically. • The quick relaunch button has only been tested on Windows, and may behave differently on other operating systems. • To uninstall, just unsubscribe on the Steam Workshop. Your mods will run as normal, as you last set them, through the vanilla game's mod page. Your saved data stays in the mod's data folder until you remove it. Localization As of now, the mod ships only in English, but it's set up for easy drop-in translations. Community translations for other languages are very welcome and encouraged. See TRANSLATING.md for more detailed instructions To provide initial support, I've made translations using Claude Code for: - Simplified Chinese (简体中文) - Russian (Русский) These translations aren't included in the Workshop mod and need to be downloaded separately at Spire Mod Manager: Translation Bundle To install, simply drop the json file into the mod's translations folder and select your language from the base game's settings menu. To find the mod folder, right-click the mod's button on the game's main menu and choose Open translations folder . On Windows you can also press Win+R and enter: %appdata%\SlayTheSpire2\steam then open the folder named with your Steam ID and go to: mod_data\SpireModManager\translations The full path, with your own Steam ID in the middle: %appdata%\SlayTheSpire2\steam\ \mod_data\SpireModManager\translations Thank you!
