Co-op where you don't all have to walk the same path. In a 2 to 4 player run, everyone picks their own node on the map. Pick different ones and you split up: each branch plays its own fights, shops, events, rest sites and chests, at the same time as the others. Fights scale to however many of you are actually in that fight. Pick the same node and you travel together as a group. Meeting back up You can run as far ahead as you like, but you can't take a room a friend could still reach. If your next node is a crossroad with someone else's path, you wait there until they either get next to it or go a way that can't reach it. Everyone who steps into the same node plays it together. The boss is on every path, so the whole party always meets for it. Dying alone If everyone in a fight dies, you don't lose the run. You come back at 1 HP on a friend's path once they finish their room. The run only ends if the whole party is down at once. Other stuff • Different branches never see the same fight, event or relic. • The map shows where your friends are, the path they took, and the node they picked. • Friends' relics don't trigger in your rooms while you're apart. • Mend at a campsite only works on someone who's at that campsite with you. • You can save and quit while split. When you continue, each group picks up in the room it was in. Notes • Everyone in the lobby needs the mod. • Shared events (Punch Off and the like) only show up when the whole party is together. • Works in every language the game supports. Game versions Works on the regular game (0.107.1) and on the public-beta branch (0.111.0). Everyone in the lobby has to be on the same branch, same as the base game.
