For a long time, people have believed that the Watcher character is busted. Some modders like Gk has already worked on a mod that rebalances the watcher. However, I believe that changing the watcher's cards and mechanics is simply a waste of time, and changing the rest of the game is clearly the better method of balancing this character. That's right, this mod replaces the final boss of the Spire with an 800 health Spiker. With built-in 8/12 Thorns, the Grand Spiker will trigger the Act 3 hallway flashbacks of even the most experienced Watcher players. Pressure Points Will be Great Again! What does the big Spiker do? The Spiker starts with 8/12 Thorns and 80/60 Invincible. Meaning that in the first few turns, you will only be able to deal up to 80/60 damage to it per turn. On the first turn, the Spiker will shuffle 3/4 Strikes with Ethereal into your deck. After the first turn, the Spiker cycles in order, the following moves: • Attacks for 24/36 . Shuffles Strikes with Ethereal into your draw pile until you have 2/3 attack cards in your draw and discard pile combined. • Forces you to play up to 2/3 attack cards from your draw pile. • Gains 4/6 Thorns, 8/12 Strength, and 80/60 Invincible. This means that the damage cap increases as the Spiker buffs. If you deal max damage each turn, you will be able to kill the Spiker in 4/5 turns. After buffing 5 times, the Spiker will force you to play attacks from your draw pile every turn. Underlined numbers represent different numbers on different ascension levels. FAQ When the Spiker forces me to attack, the attacks do not get affected by any buffs like Strength, Vulnerable, or Wrath stance. What happened? When you play cards during the enemy's turn, buffs and effects do not apply. I'm not fixing it because it takes way too much effort.
