The Bladedancer After the previous Bladedancer sent to vanquish the spire failed to return, the order of the Bladedancers sent another one. With refined techniques and new combat strategies, this new-generation Bladedancer might just be the one to finally take down the Spire, and find out what happened to his brother in arms. This mod adds a new character to Slay the Spire, with a full set of 75 cards, 11 relics, 3 potions, a fully animated model, and 100% custom card art. The Bladedancer is the master of ancient, long lost swordsmanship techniques enabling him to quickly swap from one Stance to another, invoke devastating elemental attacks, viciously finish off low-HP targets and much, much more. This character uses a combination of vanilla mechanics and never-before-seen new additions to create a fun and exciting new experience. The Bladedancer is loosely based on the Bladedancer class from Blade and Soul, an eastern, martial arts based MMORPG. THIS MOD IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE OLD VERSION OF THE BLADEDANCER. PLAY THIS ONE, THE OLD ONE IS BROKEN. The Mechanics • Stances - The Bladedancer starts out in Basic Stance , and through the help of cards he may enter Wind Stance or Lightning Stance . Various cards have their effects enhanced or altered based on the current Stance. • Charges - While in either Wind Stance or Lightning Stance, cards with the Conduit keyword generate Wind Charges or Lightning Charges , respectively. Some cards have effects based on the number of Charges you have accumulated; Choose carefully, as most of these cards consume the Charges as well! • Finishers - Finishers are special cards that require either Combo or Fury , or rarely, both. Gain 1 Combo every time you play a card, and gain 1 Fury for each point of damage you deal by attacking. These are extremely powerful cards, but beware - draft too many and you may end up with a dead hand. • Bloodied - Cards with the Bloodied keyword have additional effects when used on targets that are at or below 60% HP. • Bleeding - Bleeding enemies take damage at the end of their turn, and take 20% more attack damage. Bleeding decays quickly - 3 per turn.
