The Deathbringer is a custom character with 76 cards featuring new simple mechanics. Lore After wandering to the Spire in search of his next target, The Deathbringer, a notorious assassin, was ambushed by powerful protectors of the Spire. The resulting battle left The Deathbringer on the verge of death. Neow was able to bring him back, however; it seems they may have a mutual goal... Features • 76 cards to find! • 10 relics! • 3 potions! Keywords • Shadow - Shadow cards have a unique cardback and energy orb texture. Whenever you play a Shadow card, another random Shadow card in your hand has its actions triggered at half effectiveness, then is discarded. • Shadowplay - A card is Shadowplayed if its actions are triggered by Shadow. Some cards have extra effects when Shadowplayed. • Umbra - Umbra cards will always be prioritized first for Shadowplay. • Penumbra - Penumbra cards will always be prioritized last for Shadowplay. • Virulence - When applying Poison to an enemy, apply additional Poison equal to your Virulence. Notes • Nearly all of the code for this mod was written by ChatGPT's GPT-4 model, and all of the art was done by DALL-E 3 and/or Midjourney.
