Character Mr. Atlas Elidae seems harmless to the people around him - a simple vintner with an anxious streak. The nighttime disappearances in the area rattle him as much as anyone in light of his young daughter Nena, but he does his best not to offload that stress on others. Whether that stress is from the disappearances or his small part in them, however, is a secret known only to him. Him, and little Nena who caught him in the act and lied to the guards about it. Desperate or mad, he's come to the spire looking for some miracle cure to his temptations. Not for his sake - he's beyond saving, and he knows that - but because the one single good thing he ever did was be willing to do anything for his daughter's safety. Mechanics Energy & Devour - Atlas has, and regenerates, no energy . Instead, he pays for cards by Devouring cards out of his Exhaust pile, and gaining energy will make cards in the Exhaust pile instead. If you can't pay the cost, gain that much Ravenous instead. Ravenous - At the start of your turn, lose some HP and then attempt to Devour cards. The more you Devour , the more Ravenous you lose. Risk - With no energy the Energy Orb instead keeps track of your Risk , how many cards you're allowed to draw during the turn after your starting hand. Food & Seconds - Food cards begin combat Exhausted, while Seconds cards will add themselves back to the hand a limited amount of times when Devoured . Content Playable Character The Craven , which includes: • 78 Cards • 10 Relics + 1 'Dead Branch' alternative • 6 Potions • Optionally enable the 'Devour' energy mechanic for ALL characters • Adjust the number of 'Rations' in the starting deck and campfire option • Controller-compatible tip screen Hungry Wolf Exactly two years ago today, I released 'Hungry Wolf' as my first foray into modding in Slay the Spire. He was a simple character idea from a random mechanic of 'eating' your cards that passed through my head. At the time, I used AI Art to put him together with a tremendous amount of code reference from existing community githubs and friends' advice. He was basically an excuse to try modding anything , and slowly ended up being left behind as 'done enough' when his main issues were cleaned up to the limits of what I understood at the time. For a while now I wanted to clean him up better with what I learned. I didn't want to put in the effort to lego his kit back together from the ground up into something easier to work with - entirely destroying the original in the process - for very little gain that nobody really asked for (except me!). So instead, after a lot of iterations, here's his separate ground-up glow-up: 'The Craven'! Unlike the original, I did the art for this mod myself. I've done my best, but still tell me if there's any stray things I need to work on! All-in-all, I'm just happy thsi is finished even if balance is going to be its whole own adventure.
