Based on Cadence from Crypt of the Necrodancer, the Dancer features rhythm-based mechanics, drastically overhauling Slay the Spire's gameplay Features • 74 new cards • 25 alternate versions of existing Colorless cards • 8 new relics • 31 alternate versions of existing relics • 11 alternate versions of existing potions Core Mechanics • Rhythm-based gameplay ; Play cards to the beat to keep up with the automatically attacking enemies • Stay on beat to enter Groove and gain Vigor every turn • Use your Cycles to quickly filter through your deck • Parry at just the right moment to stop incoming damage • Cards that provide powerful bonuses while held in hand • Odd/Even cards that change their effect based on the turn you play them • Throwable cards that play when discarded • Energy matters ; Maintain your energy count for maximum effect, or spend it on stronger cards Mod Compatibility Unfortunately, due to the overhauled mechanics, most modded content will not work properly on this character. I currently have no plans to provide compatibility either, as the conflicts are with the core mechanics. Even the base game has many relics either grossly unbalanced or nonfunctional (which is why the Dancer obtains unique versions) Credits Based on the BasicMod template , by Alchyr Skull icon, beat bars, and all music used is from Crypt of the Necrodancer Rest of code and art by me
