Overview This mod introduces one of many Employees from Lethal Company as a playable character. This mod should encapsulate the same feeling as one should have playing the original game. What I mean is, that this character feels much more closer to Vanilla than a lot of other mods. This Employee truly is based on 2 major factors: Fear and Gold. You can gain a lot of Gold from different sources, but many cards will also cost you Gold to be able to play them. Fear is a mechanic that will follow you for your whole playthrough. Keywords and Orbs • Fear : Fear ranges from 0 to 100. Every 25 Fear gained crosses a threshold, granting bonuses but also negative effects: - Tier 0 (0-24): No changes. - Tier 1 (25-49): At the start of your turn and during current turn, gain 1 Energy but you also lose 1 Dexterity. - Tier 2 (50-74): Instantly gain 3 Strength but lose 1 Focus. - Tier 3 (75-100): At the start of your turn, Channel 1 Dark and Scry 3 but draw 1 less card. • Noisy : When applied to enemies, they gain temporary Strength equal to Noisy applied. 1:1. • Radiation : Acts like Poison but doesn't decay. Generally, cards will apply less amounts than Poison for balance purpose. • Overclock : Gold spent in fights will be tracked. Cards with Overclock will only apply the mentioned effect if you spent Gold equal or higher than Overclock amount. • Scrap and Monster : Both are tags written on cards to let you know what other cards' effects will give or apply when it's mentioned. • Scrap Orb : Generates Gold both at the end of your turn and when Evoked. • Fog Orb : At the start of your turn, gain a small amount of Fear and applies Weak to random enemies. When Evoked, lose a bit more Fear. • Radiation Orb : At the end of your turn, applies Radiation to a random enemy. When Evoked, applies slightly more. This Orb requires 2 Focus to upgrade numbers by 1. • Water Orb : At the start of your turn, Scry 1. When Evoked, Draw 1. This Orb requires 3 Focus to upgrade numbers by 1. Currently features • 105 unique cards separated on 2 different pool/color. • 12 unique relics • 3 potions • 4 orbs • 2 events • 1 new firecamp action • Custom music that can be disabled Playstyles and functions For the firecamp action, be aware that it requires both 250 Gold AND the firecamp itself. When option "Pay Quota" is selected, you will be able to choose between 3 random cards of the Corporate pool that is only accessible from there. Concerning playstyles, there's multiple ways to go: Fear, Gold, orbs, Noisy, Radiation, Scrap and Monster builds. Corporate cards also usually boosts specific build, but some of them are also good all rounded. Conclusion This is my second time modding for Slay the Spire, so I tried being a bit more ambitious this time around. I think I did a good job polishing this one around but if there is anything buggy or plainly badly explained, please do tell me. I'm not sure if I will be adding more contents for now, but we'll see if I get inspiration. Maybe with new versions of Lethal Company, who knows. Lastly, I used machine translation for Chinese version. If it crashes or if it doesn't make sense, please comment below.
